Lea Michele vs. Timeflies – Pop Clash

Lea Michele is on a roll. Her 'Cannonball' has decimated everything in its way in the last three Pop Clash battles. This week, she hopes to extend her reign for a fourth week, which would earn her a spot in the Pop Clash Hall of Fame. But she's got some work to do before she gets there and she has a huge hurdle in front of her in the form of Timeflies.

We're making things interesting this week.

Michele's power ballad 'Cannonball' has resonated in the way that it mixes emotional heft with a big, bold chorus. We're so used to hearing Michele sing other people's songs as Rachel Berry on 'Glee' and we love how she pours her heart and that voice into the song, especially when she sings, "I gotta get out, gotta get out, gotta get out, gotta get out / Lonely inside and light the fuse / Light it now, light it now, light it now," and explodes in a flurry of pretty and large pop melodies. If she prevails this week, she will be retired to our HoF.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves, as she has to beat Timeflies THIS week and it's going to be tough.

The pop duo released the folky EDM track 'All the Way' and it's an upbeat banger that really gets us amped and wanting to jump up and down. It's a totally energetic gem that reminds us that summer is on its way. If you dig the way Avicii has turned EDM on its ear, then we guarantee you will crush hard on 'All the Way.' It's packed with sweet, sweet harmonies and is positively uplifting. This could be the feel good hit of 2014.

That said, it's up to you to decide who will emerge the victor of this week's Pop Clash.
