The name Leon Thomas III might not be instantly familiar to you... yet. But chances are, if you are a fan of Nickelodeon teen pop, then you've seen or heard his work. He is currently on tour with Big Time Rush through the end of the month and he self-released his 'Metro Hearts' mixtape, which features a cover of Drake's 'Take Care' as well as the catchy single 'Forever.' But that's not the extent of his talents.

Thomas, 19, starred as Andre Harris on the now-canceled 'Victorious,' and during his tenure, he co-wrote several songs on the show. He also starred opposite of heavyweights like Robin Williams and Terrence Howard in the film 'August Rush' in 2007. He was just 13 and he also performed 'La Bamba' on the film's soundtrack.

That's quite a resume for someone who isn't even 20 or old enough to legally drink.

PopCrush posed a series of questions to Thomas, since he's done so much in such little time. He offered advice for aspiring songwriters and provided an update of what's new and exciting in his world, which seems to be par for the course.

He also revealed a cute secret about his co-star Victoria Justice and it involves her feet. Read on to find out more about her talented toes and his music, and what it's like to tour with BTR.

You've written a few songs for the show 'Victorious.' Do you have any advice for aspiring singer-songwriters?
For new singer-songwriters, I think it's best to try and write a song every day. Like any other talent, practice makes perfect.

Do you have any future acting gigs in the works aside from 'Victorious?'
Not yet, but I've been auditioning and hopefully I'll land something soon.

What was it like working alongside Robin Williams and Terrance Howard in your movie debut 'August Rush?'
They both are amazing actors and I learned a great deal from both of them.

Would you ever be interested in doing Broadway again?
Not right now, but definitely in a few years if the right project comes along.

What's one thing about Victoria Justice that we would be surprised by?
She has toes that work like fingers, it's crazy!

You've covered Drake. Any other artists you've covered or are really into right now?
I would love to do a Bob Marley cover.

Who did you listen to growing up?
Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson and D'Angelo.

What's your favorite song off your mixtape 'Metro Hearts?'
My favorite song would happen to be the interlude, 'Vibe.'

You just started touring with BTR. Any fun stories you can share with us? What's it like being on tour with them? What are the girls like?
Well being on tour with BTR has been a true pleasure. These guys are nothing but nice and the fans are extremely enthusiastic and fun to interact with.

What's your favorite song to perform live?
'Bad' from 'Metro Hearts.'

Did you write all the tracks off your mixtape? What about 'Forever?'
I wrote and co-produced every song.

Is there an EP or album in the works?
Well the mixtape 'Metro Hearts' is available for free download on my website, and as soon as I get off the tour I'm gonna start my new album.
