Lil’ Chris, of Gene Simmons’ ‘Rock School,’ Dead at 24
Lil' Chris, the English musician best known for his appearance on Kiss frontman Gene Simmons' reality TV show Rock School, was found dead yesterday (March 23), according to BBC News. He was 24 years old.
According to the U.K's Mirror, police are investigating the death but do not see the circumstances as suspicious. No cause of death has been revealed.
Born Christopher James Hardman, the late musician went by his nickname "Lil Chris" due to his diminutive size and youthful look. He appeared on the second season of Rock School, a show that took classically trained musicians and prepared them for careers as rockers.
Tributes have been rolling in for the young star, who, according to the Mirror, suffered from depression. Gene Simmons tweeted:
Lil' Chris' final tweet from March 18 was positive, expressing love for all of his followers.
Our thoughts are with the family, friends and fans of this promising young star. R.I.P. Lil' Chris.
