Lil Uzi Vert Named King of SoundCloud, Debuts New Hair Color (PHOTO)

Lil Uzi Vert has had a great year. His debut album, Luv is Rage 2, topped the Billboard 200 chart and his song, “XO Tour Llif3,” is one of the best rap singles of 2017.

Recently, the Philadelphia rapper has been crowned the “King of SoundCloud” for 2017. According to the streaming website, Lil Uzi Vert’s Luv Is Rage 2 was the most played on their platform.

"We've amped up this year's list for a total of 17 categories that touch every corner of the Soundcloud ecosystem, from hip-hop, pop, dance, and rock, to what's new, now and next in music culture," the streaming platform announced on Friday (Dec. 8). "This year's list celebrates the diverse creativity on the platform and within our community—everything from the buzziest tags in 2017 like ChillHop and Vaporwave, to the year's most creative cities."

Other artists gracing the list including Khalid, Post Malone, Kehlani, Lil Pump, Trippie Redd and others.

Meanwhile, over the weekend, Uzi debut a new hair color. The 23-year-old rapper went on his Instagram page and posted a photo of himself sharing a video himself at a hotel. If you look at the photo below, you can see that his hair color comes in different hues -- red, orange, dark burgundy and some yellow.

Uzi Vert has donned different hair colors in the past. He has previously rocked blue, purple and pink hairdos.

Interestingly enough Uzi is rocking his own black hair in his new video for the Nicki Minaj-assisted remix for "The Way Life Goes." Check it out below.
