No one was actually mad on the set of the video for  'Y.U. Mad' -- in fact, Birdman, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj were giggling during a behind-the-scenes interview about the song.

"I liked it from the start," Birdman said. "Working with Nicki is special, and it's something she gave me, so we rocked with it."

As for the meaning behind the song? Weezy has his own theory:

“Honestly though, I don’t think no one [sic] is actually mad, it’s just a figure of speech,” Wayne explained to MTV News. “I think Nick just sounded good saying ‘mad’ at that point in the song," he continued. "I don’t think it would’ve been cooler if she said, ‘That’s why you glad.’ I'll have to ask her next time I see her," Weezy deadpanned.

While it appears that Minaj is right alongside Lil Wayne, she's not actually on set -- her "Female Weezy" persona is, clad in sagging skater pants, a white tank, and long blonde dreadlocks. Minaj doesn't speak in the video, but she does chuckle at Lil Wayne's explanation about the track.

At the end of the day, the trio just wants to make listeners smile, Weezy says. "We don't want you guys mad!"
