Lil Wayne Extends 2011 I Am Music II Tour Through the Summer

Weezy can't stop, won't stop! The 'John' rapper has extended his I Am Music II tour through the summer months, tacking on 40 more dates from July through mid-September. Lil Wayne really knows how to market himself, since the rapper's new album 'Tha Carter IV' conveniently drops on June 21, right before the second leg of the I Am Music II tour kicks off.

Since his Young Money pal and former opening act Nicki Minaj is hitting the road with Britney Spears this summer, Lil Wayne has recruited some other artists to perform at his shows. Rick Ross will continue to tour with Weezy, while tour newcomers Keri Hilson, Far East Movement, and Lloyd will also be coming along for the ride.
