Lil Wayne can't consume alcohol for three years according to the terms of his probation, so he has banned booze backstage from his I Am Still Music Tour.

A rep for the tour told TMZ the tour has "a dry backstage as we are committed to keeping a safe and professional atmosphere to ensure a smoothly running tour." Just to make sure he isn't tempted, alcohol isn't even allowed on his tour bus.

Fans, of course, are not required to be sober, so those attending Weezy shows are free to purchase the drinks of their choice at venue concession stands. "There is no ban on alcohol served at the venues," the rep confirmed.

Lil Wayne's I Am Still Music Tour has a few remaining dates, and the rapper will play the MTV Video Music Awards in August. While avoiding alcoholic beverages, Wayne has plenty to occupy his time, like a new clothing line and promotion for his long-awaited album 'Tha Carter IV,' which drops on Aug. 29.
