Disappointing news for Lil Wayne fans: The rapper's 'Tha Carter IV' album, which had been set to drop on June 21, has now been pushed back to Aug. 29.

XXLMag reports that a rep from Universal Motown label has confirmed the delay. The album has already been delayed several times, but it's obvious Weezy wants to make sure he's completely satisfied before letting it see the light of day.

Maybe Wayne just wants to release every song from 'Tha Carter IV' before the album actually comes out. He's already given us '6 Foot 7 Foot,' 'John' and 'How to Love,' and XXLMag says another track is expected around July 4.

'Tha Carter IV' is said to feature Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, T-Pain, Drake and many others. Weezy's MTV Unplugged performance on June 12 is still apparently on as scheduled.

While Lil Wayne and his producers put the finishing touches on the record, he'll spend most of July and August on the road with the I Am Music II Tour.
