Lil Wayne Introduces New Young Money Artist Torion Sellers
Lil Wayne is a smart recruiter when it comes to talent. With chart-topping artists like Nicki Minaj and Drake leading the charge in his Young Money roster, you would think he didn't need anymore superstars in his camp. Well, in his new PSA, Tunechi has unveiled his latest secret weapon -- 14-year-old R&B crooner Torion Sellers.
“Today I wanna reveal something new, I wanna reveal something needed, I wanna reveal something now, I wanna reveal something then, I wanna reveal the future,” Wayne says in the seven-minute clip directed by videographer Derick G.
The video then segues into the young tyke crooning Michael Jackson's words from the Jackson 5 classic 'I’ll Be There.' Looking at him, he reminds us of a very young Usher (circa 1994). But wait, there's more!
Weezy then presents "the icing on the cake": Mr. Sellers can also dance his butt off. In the last segment, the young'un does a dance interpretation to the soundtrack of Chris Brown's braggadocios hit, 'Look at Me Now.' His footwork is truly amazing as he jerks, pops and bends his body in ways that are humanly impossible.
"He has an amazing voice and such a God-given gift and talent," Wanye says of his newest signee. And we have to agree.
Chris Brown, you better watch your back.
