Lisa Marie Presley Performs ‘You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet’ on ‘American Idol’
Lisa Marie Presley is music royalty, being the daughter of the King, Elvis Presley, after all. She performed on tonight's (May 17) elimination episode of 'American Idol,' delivering her new single 'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet' from the just-released 'Storm & Grace' album. So what is Lisa Marie like live and onstage?
Dressed in a long black dress with her honey brown hair blown back in big waves, LMP, always the spitting image of her famous father, delivered a breathy version of the somewhat melancholy song. LMP emitted a quiet power while performing.
This might sound blasphemous, but she is akin to Lana Del Rey. She doesn't move much, save for swaying while standing and singing, and she has a super sexy vocal delivery. Granted, LDR is a neophyte and LMP has been around for years, released a few albums and has some of the most notorious musical DNA running through her veins, but there are some similarities that we felt compelled to point out.
LMP closed the song with a "thank You" and a smile, and you really can't help but love her. She was a nice surprise on the show, since she isn't a pop star and has more of a Triple A-type vibe.
