Little Mix Urge Fans to ‘Get Weird’ With Forthcoming Third Album
The girl group, whose "Black Magic" saw the biggest UK preorder of 2015, have officially announced their forthcoming third album. While their previous work urged you to salute, they're now inviting you to put down your defenses and simply Get Weird.
"We CANNOT WAIT for you to see and hear more from Get Weird. We are so proud of this and hope you LOVE it. The Girls," Little Mix wrote on their Facebook page. Evidently, an especially rabid Mixer released the art featured above earlier than the ladies had planned to share it, but the ladies nevertheless thanked fans for their patience, and added that the album will be available for preorder in the United States on August 14.
The album will hit stores on November 6.
On Twitter, group member Leigh-Anne Pinnock said Get Weird perfectly encompasses the group's current lighthearted perspective.
"We just wanted to have a title that showed us off for the crazy girls we are! We just wanna have fun!" she responded to a fan who asked about the title's origin.
And the former X Factor winners have even more to celebrate: Little Mix are nominated for Choice International Artist, Choice Music Breakout Artist, Choice Summer Music Star: Group and Choice Music Group: Female at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, which will air August 16 on FOX.
Excited for the next bit of Little Mix-magic? What are your thoughts on the new album artwork?
