Little Mix Fall For The High School Player in ‘Love Me Like You’ Video

Evidently, black magic has an expiration date—in Little Mix's latest video, released today (October 2), Jade, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jesy hardly have charms on their side.

"Love Me Like You," the third single off of the forthcoming Get Weird, finds the ladies—once more—pouting, listlessly, inside a high school's walls. But it's not insecurity or social unease that's knocked them off balance this time around: It's a guy. This hardly bodes well for Friday night's homecoming game!!!

In the clip above, the foursome, who are unwittingly after the same popular gentleman, try to distract themselves from their lovelorn pain at the big dance. There's punch to be enjoyed, gossip to exchange from atop a collection of folding chairs and makeup to be reapplied in the mirrors of the gym bathroom. Try as they might, though, they can't ditch their memories of the Campus Adonis.

"Last night I lay in bed so blue / 'Cause I realised the truth, they can't love me like you / I tried to find somebody new / Baby they ain't got a clue, can't love me like you," the ladies croon over a sha-la-la song befitting of a malt shop jukebox's rotation.

And sadly, there's no happy ending for the ladies, who, while mulling over their anguish on the bleachers, find their guy has moved on to a new date. Life lesson learned: go for the nerd—he'll never do you wrong.
