Ladies (and the ladies and gentlemen of Grammys' National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences) really must love LL!

The actor and rapper will return to host the 58th annual Grammy Awards in February, the show announced today (December 16). It'll be the fifth consecutive year for LL at the helm, who has two trophies, himself, and according to a statement, he's more than ready to jump back into the role.

"The performances and moments that take place on the Grammy stage are awesome in so many ways for the audience and artists alike," he said. "I'm honored once again to host Music's Biggest Night as we celebrate the talented music creators of today. It's going to be an incredible night and I'm excited to share this experience with the world."

The Grammys announced its full list of nominees for the 2016 show last week, and Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd and Mark Ronson emerged as some of the most frequently nominated acts. All the while, artists that delivered critically acclaimed work like Carly Rae Jepsen, Fetty Wap and Madonna didn't necessarily get the credit they earned.

Excited to see LL back as host? Who are you hoping will perform on the show? Share your thoughts, and be sure to tune in to the Grammys on February 15 on CBS!
