Rapper Lloyd spoke to Power 98 recently and he spilled the beans about his upcoming album 'King of Hearts' in addition to showing off his inventory of tattoos. The Louisiana hip-hop and R&B star will release his royal record in June and he is on the promotional trail.

"The album is about being 25," Lloyd says about the record's scope and concept. "It's about expressing the middle ground between maturing, which I am adapting to being closer to 30, and also to 21 of yesterday. Also, the sound is different and I have been changing up my whole production team and have a new look."

Lloyd was also ultra positive during this chat, saying, "I am in the best position I have ever been in and have no regrets about my past. I am about building bridges instead of putting up walls." What an astute assessment of his career path, right?

Now about those tatts. Lloyd has a ton of them and he displayed a few of them in this video interview, among them a Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ tattoo, since he was raised Catholic, along with a Ghetto Cupid and a Gangster Cupid on his sleeved arms. He also has a kick ass Speed Racer steering a Mach 5 on his decorated forearm, which was influenced by his childhood TV viewing pleasure.

There are so many levels to Lloyd and this interview sorts through a few of them!
