LMFAO took home not only the Top Duo/Group Award at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, but also the Hot 100 Single of the Year -- beating out stiff competition from the likes of Katy Perry and Adele.Jason Derulo, just out of a neck cast, presented the Top Hot 100 Song of the Year Award, even admitting it was a "tough one!"

The party rockers, fresh off of a performance of a medley of 'Party Rock Anthem,' 'Sorry for Party Rocking' and 'Sexy and I Know It,' danced their way up the stage. Their cohort Q shot out streamers and almost got poor ole' Redfoo in the eye!

The hip-poppers were beyond thrilled and moved by the win, giving an earnest and warm acceptance speech. "This is amazing," Redfoo gushed. "This is a dream come true." One group in particular that they thanked? "The DJs, the DJs, the DJs!" Redfoo grinned. "Dance music is back, baby!"

And it's not going away. 'Party Rock Anthem' is enjoying its whopping 60th week on the Billboard Hot 100, tying with none other than Los Del Rio's 'Macarena' for longevity. It's only the ninth song to ever remain on the charts that long!

Sky Blu had some words of his own as well. "This is the first time we've ever been up here to accept an award. It's all because of this man right here," he said pointing to his uncle Redfoo. "He taught me everything I know." Redfoo then thanked his own dad, music legend Berry Gordy, before the duo thanked their fans profusely. The newly shorn Sky Blu added, "This is proof you can do whatever you dream of."

When the duo won Top Duo/Group, they were quick to thank their 30-deep Party Rock Crew as well as their fans -- and reminded viewers and listeners once again that if they dream it, they can do it.

We'll be they're toasting with some 'Shots' to their victories!
