'American Idol' has played host to some of today's biggest pop artists, and this week is no different. The show will add more star power to their list of Season 11 performers when LMFAO and Kris Allen take the stage.

The party rockers and 'Idol' alum will appear on Thursday's results show (April 19). LMFAO will get the crowd pumped up with their hit 'Sorry for Party Rocking,' while the Season 8 winner will sing his new single, 'The Vision of Love.' The tune is from the 26-year-old's forthcoming sophomore album, 'Thank You Camellia.'

"We tried to make sure we created these characters ... That people can relate to,” Allen tells HitFix about co-writing 'Vision of Love.' “I wanted people to feel like they knew those people. It’s a call for us to not be scared ... to not be afraid to offer up ourselves to help people.”"

'Idol' is known for welcoming alums back to the stage from which they were discovered. This season alone, both Jennifer Hudson and James Durbin have performed on the hit singing competition series.

The Season 11 hopefuls were spared an elimination last week when Jessica Sanchez, who received the lowest number of votes, was saved by the judges. She'll rejoin the remaining six finalists this week, which include Hollie Cavanagh, Colton Dixon, Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Elise Testone.
