Lorde is, arguably, the coolest teenager in music already, but she got even cooler with the writing of a single tweet. According to a tweet posted earlier today (June 10), it looks like she's been busy drinking milkshakes and recording new music with electronica duo Disclosure, cementing her status as super-hip-and-talented-young-person even further.

There aren't too many details about the collaboration -- all right, to be fair there are zero details about the collaboration. But Lorde did perform with Disclosure at the 2014 BRIT Awards, so there's a history there already. They did a mashup of Lorde's hit "Royals" with Disclosure's "White Noise," and it was a perfect melding of two genres we never knew could sound so great together.

What form said collaboration will take remains to be seen, but we can at least look forward to new music from Disclosure in a few months. The duo announced a release date for their upcoming sophomore album Caracal earlier this week, unveiling the album art and title all in one fell swoop. The album is set to be rife with guest vocalists and musicians, from Lion Babe to Gregory Porter, whose vocals are featured on Disclosure's recently released song "Hold On."

Lorde, meanwhile, has yet to announce a follow-up to her debut album Pure Heroine, but she did give fans some information about her current writing process. In a Tumblr post she wrote, "I took a few months off at the beginning of this year, which was so great. Now I’m just getting into making the next body of work, which is very exciting and scary but so validating.”
