Louis Tomlinson may have dropped a serious bomb on Directioners today (March 30) when he called out producer, Naughty Boy, after he tweeted a video that seemed to verify the much-circulated whispers of a solo project from recently departed One Direction member Zayn Malik.

Louis tweeted the producer directly, writing, "Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you're so inconsiderate pal, seriously how f---ing old are you ? Grow up ! #masterofallwisdom." He followed up his tweet by admitting, "Always have struggled to bite my tongue." When a fan then asked Louis to clarify what his tweet meant he responded, saying, "...in reply to that stupid video he RT'd. Clearly trying to wind you lot up!!!"

The video in question was posted by another user on Twitter -- and subsequently retweeted by Naughty Boy -- that is pretty much just a mishmash of the words "Naughty Boy saved my life. Zaughty will rise," scrolling across the screen repeatedly. "Zaughty" is the fan-made moniker for Zayn and Naughty Boy (much like Brangelina is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie -- you get the picture).

Naughty Boy's retweeting of the video seems to indicate that the rumors of Zayn's going solo, and possibly releasing solo material as soon as 2016, may be true. Rumors began circulating less than 24 hours after Zayn first quit the band, as he was photographed heading into a studio. His interview with the Sun seemed to confirm that he was planning on releasing solo material at some point, though there is little indication as to when that will happen.

Naughty Boy responded to Louis, but he misunderstood the tweet Louis was referring to, claiming that he had been tweeting about X Factor judge Louis Walsh. You can check out his tweet below.

Louis then clarified, saying he was responding to the video Naughty Boy retweeted:

Zayn cited stress as his original reason for leaving One Direction, saying in his official statement that he wanted to "be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight." A solo project in the works this soon seems to indicate otherwise.
