Louis Tomlinson Might Come Home to Judge ‘The X-Factor’

Calling all Directioners! It looks like One Direction's Louis Tomlinson might be returning to a television near you. Sony has reportedly asked the British heartthrob to help discover the next big girl band, and many are saying this could lead to a coveted role as X-Factor judge.

There are always more than enough rumors about the One Direction boys to fill up a news feed, but this one seems like it could hold some merit. What we do know is that The Tommo has been helping with a talent search called Be in the Band. We know this because Louis and his angelic smile were spotted at the first round of auditions in London on Saturday (March 7).

It really would be a perfect fit, Louis returning to the scene of his humble beginnings and joining Simon at the judges panel. Louis reportedly has a good relationship with Cowell, so the music mogul giving him career advice doesn't seem too far-fetched. According to the Sun, “Louis has his business head screwed on and is busy making plans for the future. He’s rated very highly at Sony and they knew he’d be great to get on board. Louis accepted their offer straight away. He has visions of being a music boss in the future and has a good eye for new talent."

Louis has a pretty busy schedule, what with buzzing around the world with his 1D boys and co-writing hits such as "Steal My Girl."
