Luke Bryan reportedly slapped a fan while performing at Charlie Daniels' 2016 Volunteer Jam concert in Nashville last night (November 30), when he was met with aggressive behavior from the concertgoer.

Bryan was singing his single “Move” when he struck out at the attendee, who had reportedly been heckling him from the audience. Rolling Stone reports two men were involved, with one waving a sign that read, “We can see your camel toe,” which allegedly refers to Bryan’s tendency to wear tight pants.

A representative for Bryan released a statement about the incident to Taste of Country shortly after, explaining what happened.

"A man in [the] front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance," it reads. "It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans – some of who were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man's disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out."
