Lupe Fiasco impresses by rapping about being infatuated with a girl on 'Out of My Head,' a track from his 'Lasers' album featuring Trey Songz.

In contrast to Fiasco's recent single, the intense, politically-charged 'Words I Never Said,' 'Out of My Head' deals with the more universal theme of love -- or at least lust.

Keyboards and backing vocals give the song a lively, soulful feeling. Songz opens the track by singing, "Girl I want you to know / I can't get you out of my head, my head, my head."

We almost wish Songz got to sing more than just the hook, because the R&B singer shines vocally on the track.

Meanwhile, Fiasco offers a creative rhyme comparing his relationship to a song:

"Everything works, you're a real good chorus / I'm a real good verse, freestyle unrehearsed / So clean, no curse / And when the song's gone man everything hurts / So I put it in reverse / Go back to the scene where I seen you first / Yeah, I need you to sing that single again / Play that video I seen you up in."

Like Kanye West's 'Touch the Sky,' 'Out of My Head' is a rap song with a lot of energy and soul, meaning that it's likely to have widespread appeal. The song has a great groove and a story that is easy to relate to.

The song is the third single from 'Lasers,' following 'The Show Goes On' and 'Words I Never Said,' which features Skylar Grey.
