Lupita Nyong'o's Essence Speech

With her seemingly effortless poise and humility, Lupita Nyong'o has solidified the honor of America's new girl crush. Like the rest of the world, I got chills during her moving Oscars acceptance speech on Sunday (March 2), so I was excited to discover an even more powerful video of her talking this week.

While accepting her award for Best Breakthrough Performance at the annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon (Feb. 27), hosted by Essence magazine, Lupita revealed her struggle for self-acceptance. It seems like these days every celebrity has a soundbite about struggling with her image, but there is something so emotional and authentic about Lupita's delivery, that I was gripped by her every word. I strongly recommend watching her powerful speech.

Kate Hudson's Oscars Gown

To quote Kate's stylist and close friend, Rachel Zoe, "I. Die." Kate isn't one of my go-to fashion icons, but girl knows how to work an open-backed dress. (For further proof, see my favorite red carpet look of all time.)

The actress showed up to Sunday's Oscars wearing the ultimate Hollywood glam look. Her beaded Versace dress was low cut in both the front and the back, but the draped quasi-cape on the shoulders kept it from veering into scandalous territory. Add her classic waves and it was a total best-dressed look. Drop the mic, Kate. You locked in the win for this awards show.

Harry Styles + Kodaline Spending Time in the Studio

Oh. My. Goshhhhh. I love One Direction and I love Kodaline, so Harry collaborating with the Irish rockers is pretty much my dream.

Sadly, we don't know much about the studio time, aside from a pic Harry drew. But from what I know about Kodaline (talented, humble, hilarious) and Harry (also talented, humble, hilarious), I will wager that this will be epic. Guys, don't keep me hanging on!
