M.I.A. sings the praises of 'Bad Girls' in her latest song, which is expected to appear on her fourth album, due later this summer. Madonna's new BFF confidently declares, "Live fast, die young, bad girls do it well" on the song, which officially drops tomorrow, Jan. 31.

'Bad Girls' originally appeared on her mixtape 'Vicki Leekx' but has been re-worked with help from producer Danja. Like M.I.A.'s best songs, the track blends hip-hop with more exotic sounds, in this case a hypnotic Indian-sounding vibe.

M.I.A. fills her words with a lot of references to cars. She raps: "My chain hits my chest when I'm banging on the dashboard / My chain hits my chest when I'm banging on the radio / Yeah back it, back it, yeah pull up to the bumper game / With a signal, cover me, cause I'm changing lanes / Had a handle on it, my life, but I broke it / When I get to where I'm going, gonna have you saying it."

The lyrics are repetitive but the song rides a nice mid-tempo beat. 'Bad Girls' may not repeat the breakout success of 2007's 'Paper Planes,' but it should be more well-received than anything on M.I.A.'s last album.
