If early predictions are accurate, Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller is about to make history on the Billboard 200 album chart by entering at No. 1. Billboard reports that Miller's 'Blue Slide Park' is on pace to sell more than 180,000 copies. That would make it the first independently-distributed debut to enter the chart at No. 1 since Tha Dogg Pound's 'Dogg Food' in 1995.

Miller is on track to knock off Justin Bieber, whose 'Under the Mistletoe' is currently the reigning album champion. At 19, Miller is just two years older than Bieber, but his hip-hop sound couldn't be different from Bieber's teen pop style.

'Blue Slide Park' includes Miller's new song 'Party on Fifth Ave,' as well as 'Frick Park Market,' which reached the Top 10 on iTunes earlier this year. Miller is on the cover of the current issue of Billboard, which details his self-taught skills and social media success.

Billboard projects that three other albums are likely to debut in the top 10 next week: The 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1' soundtrack, featuring new songs from Christina Perri and Bruno Mars, the 'Now 40' compilation and Romeo Santos' 'Formula Vol. 1.'
