Macaulay Culkin’s Dad Hospitalized Following Serious Stroke

Pacific Coast News

Macaulay Culkin‘s father, Kit Culkin, has reportedly been hospitalized in the intensive care unit following a massive stroke he suffered today (Jan. 22).

The actor’s dad, who is 69, was rushed to the hospital from his home in Oregon, and is said to be in poor condition and has lost control of his motor skills, TMZ claims. His family has supposedly been notified to come to the hospital, as the site states his prognosis does not look good.

The elder Culkin is an actor in his own right, working on Broadway productions in his youth. He and Macaulay have been estranged for years, following a dispute over money the former ‘Home Alone’ star made as a kid.

In addition to Macaulay, Culkin has five other grown children: Shane, Kieran, Quinn, Christian and Rory. His daughter, Dakota, died in 2008 after being hit by a car, while his other daughter, Jennifer, passed away in 2000 after a drug overdose.

The Culkin family is in our thoughts.
