On an unseasonably cool, mid-August morning (Aug. 16), 2013's breakout sensations Macklemore and Ryan Lewis popped some tags on breakfast TV, performing before thousands of adoring fans for the morning gabfest's Summer Concert Series.

To borrow a phrase from Mack himself, this is f--kin' awesome.

The duo also performed 'Can't Hold Us' and 'White Walls,' and even though it was cool, Mack didn't don any previously owned furs. In fact, he dressed in quite tame fashion.

A same-sex couple also got engaged at the concert, as Macklemore's song 'Same Love' supports gay rights! A concertgoer named Val held up a sign asking if she could propose to her GF, Kara, and that's just what she did!

In other Macklemore (and Ryan Lewis, who is NOT on the Rolling Stone cover) news, they will perform at the 2013 VMAs on Aug. 25, delivering a rendition of 'Same Love.'
