The Queen of Pop just usurped the King. Madonna broke Elvis Presley's U.K. record for the solo artist with the most No. 1 albums on British charts.

Official Charts reported that Madge's 'MDNA' shot straight to the top of the U.K. charts, marking her 12th No. 1 album across the pond.

Madonna's sales for 'MDNA' have no doubt been charged at least in part due to her ferocious social media campaign. The legend joined Twitter for one day to promote the album -- and to ask Justin Bieber to join her onstage! Madonna also used an exclusive Facebook interview with Jimmy Fallon to talk up her latest project, as well as leaking several tracks, either in whole or in part, before the album's release.

In addition to the original version of 'MDNA,' Madge is offering fans of Smirnoff another set of exclusive remixes. The Smirnoff ‘MDNA’ Nightlife Edition remix album is a seven-song set available exclusively via Smirnoff’s Facebook page.

In addition to that bit of good news, Madonna was also recently named an "honorary member" of LMFAO. A thirty-year career, a new chart record and a spot in pop's top Party Rockin' duo? Not bad for someone who Gene Simmons claims doesn't belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Maybe this will change his mind!
