Madonna's music and movies are her calling card, but her life story is exciting, as well. That's why her Madge-ness is spilling over into another medium: The graphic novel. CNN reports that 'Female Force: Madonna' will be released in August 2011. Madonna is force of pop culture and certainly deserving of her very own comic book.

It'll be a 32-page, quick-read, biographical comic book that retails for $3.99. It was written by CW Cooke and illustrated by Michael Johnson. It will trace her rise from a Michigan girl to Material Girl to mom of three. Something tells us Madge will like this piece of literature about her better than, say, 'Life With My Sister Madonna,' the tell-all her brother Christopher Ciccone penned a few years ago which painted an unflattering picture of the pop star and supposedly strained their relationship.

Other iconic women who've been profiled in the 'Female Force' series include Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, JK Rowling, Ellen DeGeneres and Sarah Palin.

In other Madonna news, she is entering the studio soon to work on new material, according to a series of Tweets posted by her manager.
