When Lady Gaga released the 'Born This Way' single in February, she came under critical fire due to the dance song's similarity to Madonna's 1989 hit 'Express Yourself.' Gaga went on to say that she had received an email from Madge's camp, expressing her support for Gaga and the song. While Madonna's rep denied that any such email ever made its way to Gaga's inbox, Gaga has demonstrated nothing but love for the Material Girl. However, a Belgian newspaper is reporting that Madonna has "no comments" for what she dubbed as Gaga's "obsession" with her. Are those fightin' words?

LeSoir reports that the Material Girl took aim at the Mother Monster. Oh No They Didn't is claiming that the the paper quoted Madge as saying, "Speaking of Lady Gaga, I have no comments about her obsessions related to me, because I don’t know if they are based on something profound or superficial." That's not much of a statement, negative or positive. It also could be the paper's attempt at trying to create a feud between the blond Italian divas, who reportedly share genealogy.

Obviously, the source material is not in English so we can't be sure of what it says or even the context. Any PopCrush readers out there fluent in foreign languages and care to translate? It makes us wonder who would win in a cat fight. We'd also prefer if Madge and Gaga did a duet, as opposed to duking it out!
