Madonna Ready to Launch Lourdes’ Music Career

Madonna's daughter Lourdes, 14, already the co-creator of a fashion line and the star of an upcoming movie, has reportedly recorded a song with her mom called 'It's So Cool,' which could appear on Madonna's next album or on the soundtrack to the film 'W.E.'

A source told The Sun, "Madonna hopes Lourdes will step into her shoes and become one of the biggest female artists in the world. She's the perfect mentor for her daughter and is keen to assist her first steps into the industry."

'W.E.' marks Madonna's debut as a film director, and Lourdes stars in the movie. That would seem to make the soundtrack an appropriate place to debut the duet.

A Madonna-only version of 'It's So Cool' appeared in 2009 as a bonus track for her hits collection 'Celebration.'

Mom and daughter seem to make a good team. In addition to the movie and song, Lourdes and Madonna created the Material Girl fashion line for Macy's.
