Madonna Advertises Obama Tattoo at New York Concert
By now, everyone in the world knows that Madonna just doesn't give a s---. Madge does what she wants, when she wants, and is rarely sorry for her actions. And now that the presidential election is coming up, the material girl showed her support for one candidate in a kind of... questionable way.
Her 'MDNA' tour stopped by Yankee Stadium in the great New York City on the same night of the Democratic National Convention, which was being held in Charlotte, N.C., and the singer made sure everyone knew which party she was in favor of.
"I've seen some scary things. I've seen people being locked up and put in jail for speaking their minds, for being gay, for not practicing the right religion, for not dressing the proper way," she said to the crowd. "Yeah, it's scary. But what it made me realize is how lucky I am to be living here in America. It doesn't mean that this is the perfect country. We have a long way to go."
After her little speech, she reportedly preached her love for Michelle Obama, followed by President Obama himself. "Tonight I'm not going to show my a--. I'm going to show my feelings. How's that for living dangerously?"
And with that, she ripped off her shirt to reveal the word 'OBAMA' painted across her lower back in paint.
That's kind of a tramp stamp, but... we get what she was trying to accomplish.
