Madonna Premieres ‘W.E.’ at London Film Festival
On Oct. 23, Madonna hit the red carpet at the premiere of 'W.E..' The film, which Madge directed and co-wrote, debuted at the 55th BFI London Film Festival. Madonna was all smiles as she posed solo on the red carpet as well as with the 'W.E.' cast, including British actors Richard Coyle and James D'Arcy.
Madonna looked beautiful as she posed for pictures outside of the Empire Leicester Square, where the film screening took place. The 53-year-old songstress looked radiant in her modest, black dress with magenta detailing. Her hair also gave her a youthful look, as it was swept up in a half-up, half-down do with loose curls. Madge's red lips also played off the red in her dress and gave her milky white complexion that extra oomph.
'W.E.' is a romantic drama about two women -- whose stories are separated by six decades -- struggling with their own relationships and self discovery. According to IMDB, 'W.E.' is "a two-tiered romantic drama focusing on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson and a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard."
In addition to attending the film screening, Madge also revealed the dates when 'W.E.' would be hitting theaters worldwide. Courtesy of Madonnarama.com, here's when and where 'W.E.' will impact:
