Major Lazer started as a side project for producers Diplo and Switch, but has evolved into a reggae-meets-world music-meets-dancehall musical event.

When Switch left the project, Diplo added new members, who have finally wrapped up Major Lazer's first new album in four years, 'Free the Universe,' which drops in March and features cameos from Bruno Mars, Tyga, Wyclef Jean and many others.

Diplo says he constructed the new album around Major Lazer's increasingly entertaining live performances. "Half the album speaks to our live show," he says. "Our show really melded together to make this album."

The Coachella and Bonnaroo veterans know how to start a party. Catch them on both Sundays on Ultra's Live Stage Amphitheater.
