No Doubt just released their new single 'Settle Down' last month, and now it's getting a slight makeover, thanks to a remix by Major Lazer.

The song is transformed from a fun pop ditty to a gritty club banger. The remix also acts as a great promotional tactic, as Major Lazer have their hands all over the title track of No Doubt's forthcoming album, 'Push and Shove.'

Last year, the four-piece tweeted a photo of them hanging out with the duo's Diplo and Switch, and in May, the band discussed working with the electronic team in their first in-studio webisode.

According to bassist Tony Kanal, the two groups were brought together via Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine, who said Major Lazer really wanted to work with No Doubt.

"We heard of Major Lazer, and we had heard of Diplo and Switch," Kanal added about 'Push and Shove' in the band's webisode. "I reached out to them ... I was like, 'Do you have anything? Do you want to work on something together?' We all got in the studio together and we worked on this track, and here we are now with this amazingly exciting idea."

'Push and Shove' will be released on Sept. 25.
