In an attempt to relay to the public her version of the controversial events that have surrounded the 'Honey Boo Boo' family, Mama June sat down with Entertainment Tonight for an exclusive interview. From the trailer video ET posted on its website, it doesn’t look like the interview is portraying Mama June quite in the light she was hoping.

Mama June has been accused of dating convicted child molester Mark McDaniel. Once the news broke -- with proof via photographs of the two together -- Mama June & co. lost their TV show, 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,' and were hit with an onslaught of controversy. Between her alleged refusal to believe her daughter Anna was molested by McDaniel, to the accusation that she stole Anna's trust-fund to buy gifts for him, it seems like an entire morgue's worth of skeletons have emerged from Mama June's closet and are making their way into the limelight.

Now that the dust has settled a bit, Mama June wanted to set the record straight: "It’s about getting the truth out there. I have nothing to hide, nothing to lose," She says. "I just want to tell my side of the story.”

But June gets a bit defensive, back-tracking on her previous assertion that she is not dating Mark McDaniel. She goes from claiming she has only seen McDaniel two times since his release from prison ("The very first time we saw him was a coincidence") to saying: "It's not like I'm seeing him everyday."

What, exactly, is June's reasoning for the second, non-coincidental meeting with McDaniel? She claims her daughter, Pumpkin, has been brought up to believe McDaniel is her father, when, in fact, her dad is a different sex offender -- Michael Anthony Ford -- who was caught on the TV show 'To Catch a Predator' and served time for sexual exploitation of minors.

The meeting with McDaniel was merely to give closure to Pumpkin: "It was a conversation that she wanted her answers: what happened, why did he leave, you know, if he was her real father. He admitted to her, no. I had already told her that but, you know, she wanted to hear from both sides of the story... I wanted to be able to give one of my other daughters closure and now Pumpkin is happy, that piece of our life is over."

When asked if Mama June believes Anna was molested by McDaniel, she says "I do believe something happened," but goes on to say: "I told Anna not to bring up the past again."

The full interview airs Thursday Nov. 13, but you can watch the teaser posted on Entertainment Tonight.
