Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams announced their breakup earlier this year after six years of marriage, but it looks like their divorce is still an ongoing process: Neither party can agree on how to divide their finances or what to do with their pets.

According to PEOPLE, documents report that despite a lucrative film and music career of her own, Moore’s annual income amounts to only a quarter of Adams’, so she’s asking for spousal support to help pay for her living expenses.

Moore wrote in a petition, “I feel as if I have no alternative,” saying Adams paid for half of their mortgage, property taxes and home insurance, making it impossible for her to cover costs on her current income alone.

Moore is also asking for additional help in taking care of the former couple’s pets — together they had eight dogs and cats. While Adams previously offered to take two of the cats, Moore claims he hasn’t do so yet.

She wrote, “Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time.” Moore went on to say that she was forced to “cancel a prior work engagement because my housekeeper was ill and unable to stay with our pets while I travel for work…Without Ryan’s help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like."

Moore filed for divorce back in January, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
