Mariah Carey Covers Shape in Shapely Form

Judging from her taut, toned abs on the cover of the May issue of Shape, you'd never think that Mariah Carey had given birth to dem babies a year ago. It's a far cry from her naked, bulging belly!

The twins Roc and Roe will celebrate their first birthday on April 30, which is also Carey's wedding anniversary. She's furthering the festive mood by appearing on this cover, showing how Mariah got her body back. She looks absolutely stunning, doesn't she?

Carey, a new spokeswoman for Jenny Craig, looks in fighting shape. In a striped, off the shoulder, blue and white striped top and white boy shorts, Carey is rocking the nautical look and offers hope to new mothers the world over that you, too, can regain your pre-baby body. Carey had two babies at once, so she certainly had a longer, harder road to hoe to return to form. But she did it.

At 42, we don't think we're out of line to say that Mimi is slamming. Hot mama, for sure! That glow is likely due in part to being a mom to a pair of happy and healthy, gorgeous kids.
