Jennifer Hudson better watch out! There's a new diva on the horizon who is encouraging women to get fit. Mariah Carey has been named the new ambassador for Jenny Craig. The singer recently utilized Jenny Craig's weight loss system to shed 30 pounds of baby weight that she had gained while pregnant with her twins, Moroccan and Monroe. After debuting her new figure on 'the Rosie Show,' the songstress attended a press conference on Nov. 9 at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York to announce her new role as a Jenny Craig ambassador.

Wearing a form-fitting bright red gown, Carey showed off her curvacious, slimmed down figure. At the press conference, Carey talked about the scrutiny she had to face when people began gossiping about her weight while she was pregnant. "If they want to rag at me for looking like a huge boat, like that wasn’t my fault," Carey said (via ABC), "I couldn’t help it. Carrying two human lives inside me and doing the best I could. What am I going to do?"

Now, Carey is ready to get the critics shutting up once and for all, with the new mama proudly showing off her gorgeous form in public. In addition to being the new Jenny spokeswoman, Carey's song 'Make It Happen' will also be featured in new commercials for the weight loss program. "The 'Make It Happen’ song resonates with people because it comes from a real place. I had to push through a lot of adversity in my life and this is just the next chapter," Carey said.
