In quite the romantic display, brand new parents Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their vows in a hospital ceremony on Sunday, May 1, according to The Associated Press.

Carey gave birth to their twins -- one boy, one girl -- on Saturday, April 30 in Los Angeles, which was also the couple's third wedding anniversary. The pair then "Careyed" the celebration one step further by having Rev. Al Sharpton officiate over their renewals of vows, which took place in the hospital!

During the Sunday ceremony, Sharpton blessed the Carey-Cannon twins in addition presiding over their vows.

Sharpton tweeted about the event after the fact, writing the follow message: "I also conducted the renewal of their vows and the blessing of the newborn twins. Mariah looks GREAT, and the babies are beautiful." We don't doubt that Mama Carey is basking in the glow of new motherhood and that she and Cannon produced two absolutely gorgeous infants!

The names of the babies have yet to be announced; but we're all curious and can't wait to find out what Carey and Cannon have chosen to call their bundles of joy and to see how cute they are if and when the new parents release photos of the tots.
