Mariah Carey fans may enjoy the diva's duets with Tony Bennett and Justin Bieber, but they really want a fresh album of material from the new mom. Producer James "Big Jim" Wright announced via Twitter that he and Randy Jackson of 'American Idol' having been working with Mimi on new music.

Wright posted, "Trying to sleep but can't grrrrr Was in the studios late with @YO_RANDYJACKSON working on some @MariahCarey tracks."

Earlier this year, Carey's husband Nick Cannon told Billboard, "She's been working away, and we have a studio in the crib, and [the pregnancy] has totally inspired her on so many different levels. You're definitely gonna see some new phenomenal music from Mariah."

There are rumors that Carey will be moving to Epic Records for the new album, based largely on a tweet from Mariah in which she hinted at an "epic surprise." New Epic boss L.A. Reid replied to the post, further adding to the speculation.

Mariah's last album of new material, 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,' achieved modest success, with the single 'Obsessed' hitting the Top 10. Meanwhile, the world remains obsessed with Carey's twins, Moroccan and Monroe, whose appearance on 20/20 helped the show's ratings soar.
