Mario Lopez’s Brief History With Britney Spears Revealed

Mario Lopez and Britney Spears? Yes, it happened, but only for one night apparently.

While talking about his new autobiography with Ellen DeGeneres on the Oct. 2 episode of 'Ellen,' the 'Extra' host revealed that he writes in his book about a one-night stand in Las Vegas with a mega pop star, but didn't reveal who she was. "I'm trying not to give too much away without giving too much away," he said on the show before adding that it happened between six and eight years ago.

Us Weekly has done some digging and according to sources of theirs, that mega pop star is none other than Britney Spears.

The site believes that their fling may have happened after Spears had broken up with ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2006, and during Lopez's break with Karina Smirnoff between 2006 and 2008.

Lopez also told Ellen that he remained "friendly" with the person in question. This also gives credence to the Britney Spears guess, as Lopez appeared on stage with Britney in Dec. 2013 during the opening night of her 'Piece of Me' Las Vegas show.
