Maroon 5 took the stage on 'Saturday Night Live' on Oct. 4 where they performed their two singles -- 'Animals' and 'Maps' -- from their newly released 'V' album.

The band first performed 'Animals' amidst controversy over their newly released music video. RAINN (Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network) released a statement condemning the video's depiction of stalking, calling the video "a dangerous depiction of a stalker’s fantasy — and no one should ever confuse the criminal act of stalking with romance."

Later in the broadcast, the band performed 'Maps,' their hit summer single which was certified "Platinum" by the RIAA with over 1,000,000 sales. 'Maps' has become a familiar tune for many music fans, as the band performed the song several times live, including on 'The Today Show' as well as the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
