‘America’s Got Talent’ viewers were treated to performances of new singles by Maroon 5 and Jason Derulo last night.

Maroon 5 performed 'Moves Like Jagger,' which they had also played on 'The Voice,' where frontman Adam Levine is a coach. Levine took over the final verse that is normally performed by Christina Aguilera, who did not appear on the broadcast. Perhaps she was off recording her duet with Eminem?

Derulo sang a medley of the two singles from his next album: 'Don’t Wanna Go Home' and the brand-new ‘It Girl.’ He performed with a wireless microphone, allowing him to focus on his dance moves. Derulo had a number of backup dancers and used more elaborate staging than Maroon 5, who roared through their tune on the basic stage setup.

Both artists have new albums to promote. Derulo’s ‘Future History’ arrives on September 27. Last month, Maroon 5 issued a re-release of 2010′s ‘Hands All Over’ that includes ‘Moves Like Jagger,’ which became their first Top 10 hit in four years.
