Maroon 5 has teamed up with JBL for its “Hear the Truth" campaign, starring in print, TV and online advertising for the audio brand.

While the program involves several international artists, Maroon 5 is kicking things off with a new commercial in which the Grammy-winning band stars. "We tried to be like every band we possibly could," frontman Adam Levine says backstage in the clip. "Until we became Maroon 5."

The 'Voice' judge continues to talk about his live show and allowing fans to hear the music the way it was intended to sound. "It took us a long time, and we're still working on it, trying to get the best sound that could possibly go out to our audiences," he says. "... [When] it comes out super clean … It doesn't ever get better than that."

Maroon 5 is currently on a worldwide tour in support of their latest album, 'Hands All Over.' The band will be featured on several social media channels with JBL offering behind-the-scenes content from video shoots and more.

Academy Award-winning director Barry Levinson has signed on to shoot each of the "Hear the Truth" commercials, including Maroon 5's. Other artists that have signed onto the campaign include Styx, Night Ranger and China's Liu Huan.
