Our lovers in Maroon 5 performed on 'The Today Show' this morning (June 29) as part of the Toyota Summer Concert series and someone -- we're looking at you Adam Levine -- forgot to hand us our formal invite. Fans even waited in line to see the band since 4 am during that crazy rain and thunderstorm, but no worries, because Adam totally heard about your dedication.

The guys performed 'Moves Like Jagger' and their newest hit 'Payphone' dressed head to toe in white, and for the first time, we're kind of bummed the rain stopped in time for them to perform. At least they'd get a chance to feel how us girls feel when guys somehow convince us to enter a wet t-shirt contest. And at least we would've been able to see the outline of Adam's abs and pelvic bone, because we all know how low he likes to wear his pants. Sun gods, you've been cursed.

"This was maybe the most fun I’ve ever had making a record,” Adam said to 'Todays' Matt Lauer from the stage about their new album 'Overexposed.' “There’s some pain in there somewhere. It’s part of it. I think it should be a prerequisite. You shouldn’t have to be sad to write a good song, but sometimes it helps.” Have we mentioned before that we'd voluntarily be a candidate to break Adam's heart in order for him to write a good song?
