Maroon 5 Announces Summer Tour With Kelly Clarkson

If you missed Maroon 5 on their Overexposed tour, fear not! The guys will be hitting the road this summer with Kelly Clarkson on the Honda Civic Tour, hitting outdoor venues all across the United States (and one date in Toronto)!

Adam Levine announced the tour in a video saying, "Please come to summer tour. Such an amazing vibe, weather is good. It's always the most fun." We hear that!

Levine also said in a recent interview (via Huffington Post), "I think the live outdoor kind of summer vibe is always different than the indoor arena tour because there's less emphasis on production and more on live music. It's kind of the purist form of a tour 'cause there's not too many bells and whistles." If it's all about the music, then Maroon 5 chose a superior tourmate in Kelly Clarkson who has always focused her live shows on music and not the lighting, backup dancers and elaborate sets like other pop divas.

The tour will kick off in St. Louis, Mo. on Aug. 1 with opening acts PJ Morton (the keyboardist for Maroon 5), Rozzi Crane, and 'The Voice' alumnus Tony Lucca and finish up in San Diego, Calif. on Oct. 5.

So slap on some sunscreen, grab a rain jacket and get those tickets to go see Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson!
