Check out Mary J. Blige's sunshine-y new single '25/8' from her upcoming tenth studio LP 'My Life II: The Journey Continues,' which is due out in the fall. Simply put, it's a beautiful love anthem from the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul.

The Eric Hudson-produced track sounds like a strong R&B hit to our ears with its climatic violins, fluttering flutes and live drums. The uptempo ballad almost feels like it was recorded during the Motown era but was remixed for our modern times.

On the song, Blige sings of her loyalty and everlasting love to her faithful boo. "I can love you with my eyes closed / I can see your heart through a blindfold," she sings. On the chorus, MJB adds, 'Cause I got days and days of love for you boy / And I don’t wanna have to rush, but 24/7 ain’t enough / ‘Cause I got so much love for you boy / I need another hour and a day so I can love you 25/8."

We can imagine this song being played at wedding receptions this fall. If this is what MJB is bringing on her new project we can't wait to hear more. According to reports, studio mavericks Swizz Beatz, Rico Love, Pharrell Williams and Jermaine Dupri are all working with Blige on the new album, which is a sequel to her 1994 classic LP 'My Life.'
