We told you almost two months ago that Matthew Morrison and Elton John would be collaborating on 'Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters' and 'Rocket Man' for the 'Glee' star's self-titled new album, but we had no idea the duet would be a blend of the songs!

Both tunes appeared originally on John's classic 1972 record, 'Honky Château,' and have found a similar home together almost 40 years later -- only this time as one track. The vocal pairing is like the ultimate peanut butter and jelly, meaning to say Morrison and John are a musical match made in duet heaven.

When Mr. Schuester gave us a peek at his premiere single, 'Summer Rain,' we knew he was on to something good. Then came round two -- the 'Wizard of Oz' classic 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' with Gwyneth Paltrow's accompaniment -- and we were just over the moon. Now, with this mashup of classics, we're certain Morrison's forthcoming album will be a hit and a half.

'Matthew Morrison,' the debut record, hits stores May 10, but you can grab 'Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters / Rocket Man' on Amazon now.
