Matthew Morrison Lands First Major Movie Role

From 'Glee' star to music star to movie star? It's the only natural progression for Matthew Morrison, who is slated to star alongside Cameron Diaz in the upcoming pregnancy comedy, 'What to Expect When You're Expecting.'

If that movie title sounds familiar, it should. The flick is based off of the turn-to pregnancy manual by Heidi Murkoff that has been getting soon-to-be parents through the ballooning phase since practically the beginning of time.

Matt will portray the character Evan, who ends up head over heels with Diaz when they end up matched on a celebrity dance show, a la 'Dancing With the Stars.' We're not sure how, if at all, the whole prego thing ties in, but we're stoked to see our favorite Coach Will on the big screen.

The 'Glee' famer won't be the only music star on the silver screen, though. Jennifer Lopez is on the movie cast list as well. 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' is expected (ahem) to hit theaters on May 12, 2012.
