Though initially blamed for starting the infamous (and seemingly endless) nightclub fight between Chris Brown and Drake's camps, rapper Meek Mill is coming out and pointing fingers on who started the fracas.

Turns out that Meek isn't placing blame on Drake nor on Brown, but on their entourages -- specifically on girls. Say what?

"Chris and Drake, them two was there but it’s other people that be around that take s--- to the next level,” Meek told XXL. "Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of s---. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there."

Interesting, considering Brown's attorney claims to have evidence linking Drake to the fight that injured not only Brown, but also several innocent bystanders and led to the W.i.P. club shutting down indefinitely.

When asked if he was involved in the melee himself, Meek was quick to, er, eloquently deny it, offering a simple "F--- no.”

Meek also pointed out that he and Brown have no issue with one another at all. "What [Brown] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain’t got no problem," he said.  "I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately, like, 'There’s nothing there, this-that-and-the-third,'" Meek added. "Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this. Things get out of hand that don’t mean it’s out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake."

It's worthwhile to know that the entire bustup was speculated to be about Rihanna, who was rumored to be involved with all three men. She was also the subject of a brief Twitter war between them all, because, you know, they're pretty hard.

To quote the late Rodney King, "Can we all get along?"
